Fine Art In Interior Design

At a model home "The Shakespeare House", Alissa Bennett, the interior designer in charge of the design work, collaborated with me on this project. We decided to make this triptych canvas "mural" set that would grace the master bedroom there. I am including other views of the total house to get the big picture. In the living room over the table you can see an abstract image called "source". In the study you see two driftwood abstracts that were the paintings that inspired the master bedroom triptych.

A Beach House

A beach house is a far simpler in design than an in town home. This classic beach style has panache! I did the stairway sculpted finish that came to be called "Moonlight on the Water".

The Amelia Islander Magazine Article

The Amelia Islander Magazine has discovered a recent home I did in the Amelia Island Plantation area, and wrote a handsome article featuring many of my pieces in it. There were nine bathrooms in this place! Here is a view of a couple of pages and some closeups.

The Arnold House

This house was an interesting project from the point of view that I got to try all sorts of my techniques throughout. Here is a compilation of the many different rooms and a view or two of the grounds.

Texture makes the art come alive on the wall.

The following photographs are but a few of the ways I have used texture to capture the feel of fossils, or playful creatures, or woodland themes. People always seem to instantly respond to the textural work that causes them to reach out and touch the walls with guilty pleasure. In an age of industrialization and homogenization, the hand made sculptural effect on a wall, is at once rooted in an age old desire to decorate and express in a manner that reveals the hand of the artist.
